I used to love and use Fantastical 2 every day. Moving to the subscription model is too much for me. I thought I would be able to continue to use Fantastical 2 on MacOS 10.13.6 (my mac can't upgrade to a higher version), but I find that it crashes. I located the problem: the syn with Google Calendar.
